User types: NCZ users vs company users
The portal distinguishes between two broad user categories based on the company a user belongs to. NCZ admin users are internal staff at Neutral Carbon Zone. They can access administrative views such as the Companies list, the cross-company Users admin view, and admin-level certification management across all registered organisations. These sections are hidden from company users. Company users belong to a specific registered company. They land on the Certifications page after login and only see data for their own organisation. Company users access their team members through the Users section, which shows only people within the same company.Your account’s user type is set when the NCZ team creates your organisation in the portal. Contact your NCZ account manager if you need to change it.
Viewing your users
Navigate to Users in the left sidebar. You see a table showing each user’s full name, email address, company, role, and status. Use the Search User field to filter the list by name or email. Users appear with one of three statuses:Inviting a new user

Save the user
Click Save. The portal creates the user account and sends a verification email to the address you provided. The user must click the link in that email to activate their account.
Each email address can only exist once in the system. If you receive an “Email already exists” error, the address is already registered under a different account.
Editing a user
Click the edit (pencil) icon on any user row to open the edit dialog. You can update the user’s name, phone number, company, role, and status. The email address field is read-only when editing — to change an email, contact your NCZ account manager. If a user’s status is still Pending, an additional Send Activation Email button appears in the edit dialog. Use this to resend the verification email if the original expired or was not received.Removing a user
Click the delete (trash) icon on a user row, then confirm the deletion in the dialog. Deleting a user removes their portal access immediately and permanently. Their historical data is not removed.Understanding roles and permissions
Roles control which sections appear in the sidebar and which operations a user can perform. Each role grants access to a set of portal areas with specific permissions — for example, the ability to view, add, edit, or delete records.- NCZ admin roles

User profile management
Users manage their own profile details through their account settings. Password resets are handled via email: a reset link is sent to the registered email address and expires after a set period. If your email address needs to change, contact the NCZ support team — email updates require a manual process to keep login credentials in sync with your account record.Company profile
