Certifications are the formal record of your organisation’s progress through the NCZ award and certification programme. The portal gives you a clear view of each certification you hold or are working towards, lets you access the documents associated with each level, and allows you to progress toward Silver, Gold, and Platinum certification over time.

What is an NCZ certification?

Each certification record represents one year of verified carbon management activity under a specific programme. It includes:
  • Programme — the certification level you are working toward (Blue, Silver, Gold, or Platinum)
  • Reference number — a unique identifier assigned to your certification
  • Certification year — the calendar year the certification covers
  • Status — where the certification currently sits in the process
  • Documents — certificates, carbon reports, and media packs attached to that certification
New customers are onboarded by the NCZ Customer Success Team, who create your first certification record. You do not need to create one manually.

Viewing your certifications

To see your certifications, navigate to Certifications in the left-hand sidebar. The certifications list displays all certifications associated with your company, ordered by year. Each row shows the programme name, reference number, certification year, and current status. Select any certification to open its detail view, where you can see the full description, attached documents, and linked forms.

Blue Award certifications

In the certification detail view, you will see a link to the C&HW form for each location. Select the link to open the form.
3

Complete and submit the form

Work through the questionnaire for each location. When you submit, the Blue Award application is logged against your certification.
If your company has multiple locations, a separate C&HW form link is generated for each one. Each location must have its own submission for the Blue Award to be processed.
