When you sign in to the NCZ Portal, the dashboard is your starting point. It brings together your certification status, carbon performance trends, supplier report data, and issued reports into a single view — giving you an immediate picture of where your organisation stands on its carbon journey. The sections visible to you depend on your account plan and role.

What the dashboard shows

The dashboard is made up of four main widgets, each focused on a different aspect of your carbon management activity:
Not all widgets are visible to every user. Your account plan and user role determine which sections of the portal you can access. If you expect to see a section that is not visible, contact your Customer Success Team.

Certification overview

The Certification Overview widget shows the total number of certifications associated with your account and their current statuses. You can switch between tabs to view all certifications together or filter by programme tier: Platinum, Gold, or Silver. Each status is shown with a count and a donut chart, so you can see at a glance how many certifications are active, in progress, or pending. The widget also shows the date of the last data check.
Use the programme tier tabs (All, Platinum, Gold, Silver) to focus on the certifications most relevant to your current reporting period.

Certification performance

The Certification Performance widget displays a chart that tracks certification activity across a selected time range. Use the Select Program dropdown to filter the chart by a specific NCZ programme, or leave it set to All Programs to see your complete picture. Click View Detail beneath the widget title to open the full Certification Report table, which shows:
  • Company — the organisation associated with each certification
  • Program — the NCZ programme the certification belongs to
  • Ref No — the unique certification reference number
  • Certification Period — the date range covered by the certification
  • Status — the current state of the certification
  • Reporting Date — when the reporting period is due
  • Completed — the date the certification was finalised, if applicable
You can search by certification name or reference number, and use the column filters to narrow the results by company, programme, status, or date.

Supplier list

The Supplier List widget gives you a visual overview of supplier emissions data that has been imported into your account. The chart shows supplier activity broken down across reporting periods. Click View Detail to open the full Supplier Report table, which shows:
  • Company — the supplier company name
  • Reporting Date — the date the supplier data was reported
  • Two Week Period — the two-week window the data covers
  • Imported Date — when the data was successfully imported into the portal
Use the search field and column filters to find specific suppliers or narrow results by date range.
Supplier data is imported by the NCZ team on your behalf. If you expect to see supplier records that are missing, contact your Customer Success Team.

Report issued

The Report Issued widget shows a chart of carbon footprint reports that have been issued to organisations. Like the Certification Performance widget, you can filter by programme using the Select Program dropdown. Click View Detail to open the full Certification Report Issued table. This table shares the same columns as the Certification Report table and additionally shows the Report Issued date — the date the completed carbon footprint report was delivered. The sidebar on the left side of the portal is your main navigation tool. It lists all the sections your account can access. Sections that are not part of your plan or role are not shown.

Feature-based access

The portal uses a feature and role permissions model. What you see in the sidebar and on the dashboard depends on:
  • Your account plan — different NCZ plans include access to different modules such as certifications, supply chain management, or webinars.
  • Your user role — administrators typically see management sections (such as all companies or all users) that are not visible to standard users.
If you navigate to a section you are not authorised to access, the portal displays an unauthorised message. Contact your Customer Success Team or your organisation’s portal administrator if you need access to additional features.
Do not attempt to access portal URLs directly if your account does not have the required permissions. Contact your administrator to request access through the correct channels.
